Comes with handpiece (T245-A), and two cartridges (C245-903 and C245-741).

The CD soldering control unit features large graphic display that shows important information at a glance. Any changes to the original settings can be easily made via menu on the display.

The intelligent sleep and hibernation functions, which help to extend tip life and to save energy, are combined with extremely fast temperature recovery unrivalled in the market.
This integrated parameter programming allows the station to memorize up to 5 temperatures, allowing to limit maximum temperature, programs sleep and hibernation mode, blocks the system with a PIN code.
The process control keeps fixed temperature limits, reads the usage counters, blocks the keypad with a PIN or program sleep or hibernation mode.
The stand is incorporated in the housing with the control unit for easy handling.

• Intelligent Sleep Mode: When the soldering tool is in the stand, the temperature reduces (present sleep temperature is 180 degrees C / 360 degrees F)
•Hibernation Mode: After extended time of inactivity (pre-set to 30 minutes), the power is shut down and the tool will reduce to normal room temperature.
•Cartridge extractor: Extremely to change the tip. With a gentle pull the tip will be removed and will a gentle push the new soldering tip will snap into your soldering tool.

•Multiple Cleaning Options: The user can choose to use the S0331 or S0354 Cleaning Sponges, the CL6250 Inox Wool, CL6220 Cleaning Brushes. The sponge is typically used for final cleaning (Optional accessories may include: metal brushes / retinner). Tapping and wiping is also useful as clean products are very soft and non-responsive to the temperature allowing the cleaning of solder to be an extremely simple task).

The Intelligent Heat Management

JBC stations incorporate Sleep & Hibernation functions that lower tip temperature when tool is not used. As a result, tip life lasts up to 5 times longer.

Sleep & Hibernation functions The Sleep function automatically reduces tip temperature to 180ºC when the iron is resting in the stand. The station automatically goes into Hibernation when the programmed time in Sleep mode is over. The power supply is cut off and tip keeps at room temperature. A stand is required to activate both functions
